Go West! Art Exhibit at Figge Museum, Davenport, Iowa

Lost In The Weeds is a duo playing primarily traditional American fiddle tunes and songs on banjo, fiddle, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, and vocals with other fun thrown in as needed. We play for dances and any and every special event you can think of. The duo consists of Pat Walke from Preston, Iowa and Joe Nobiling from Moline, Illinois. Pat and Joe have played music together off and on over the past 20 years. Sometimes joined by Mike Mumm, her husband, it's always a fun time makin' music together.

Near the end of October Lost In The Weeds performed at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa for the opening of their Go West! exhibit. We had a great time practicing, and even better time performing, some of the great music germain to cowboys of the past and present in a room full of western art making it a great kick to be part of this exhibit. We're honored to be playing for the closing of the exhibit on January 12, 2008 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The photos included in this post are from that gig. The photos in this post and on the sidebar were taken by Mrs. Aaronson's (Heather Aaronson's mother...my apologies for not knowing her name) for the Figge Museum.
